FAMILY
My cousin went here and detoxed. He also stayed two weeks after… [and] hasn’t touched anything since then. The clinical team did such a great job with him. I would recommend anyone to go to West Valley Detox for their addiction [recovery] needs. Thank you, team.

CLIENT
West Valley deserves more than 5 stars. They… made me feel comfortable before even walking in the door. I did one month at this rehab and had the most life-changing experience with them. Never have I been to a place that took such amazing, generous, kind, supportive care. I am truly grateful for what they did for me… and I would recommend this place to everyone!

What to Expect from a Drug & Alcohol Rehab
When you make the decision to enter treatment at a drug rehab, treatment staff will start working with you once you are checked in. Quality drug and alcohol programs operate under a three-point philosophy:
- Treatment staff will help address the powerlessness you have regarding your substance abuse.
- Treatment staff will work with you to replace unhealthy attitudes with healthier attitudes through therapy and other interventions.
- Through drug treatment, you will receive the tools and support you need to stay abstinent and strong in your recovery when you resume your day-to-day life.
Treatment staff will create an individualized treatment plan specific to your unique and specific needs with those goals in mind. This comprehensive recovery plan will provide you with the necessary tools, encouragement, and confidence needed for you to succeed in your recovery once treatment ends and you resume your daily life. In general, inpatient treatment programs last 30 days but can be extended depending on the severity of your addiction.
What is Detox & Residential Inpatient treatment?
Residential inpatient treatment programs take place either in the drug treatment facility itself or in housing on campus. In this setting, clients are away from their home environments, stressors and temptations that create the cravings and temptations to use substances. When patients enter residential drug treatment, they undergo an intensive level of treatment and care and allow strict daily schedules that are filled with recovery-centered activities.
Since clients are removed from the negative influences of their home environment, they are able to focus on addressing the root causes of their addiction. Inpatient drug rehab offers medical detoxification services to help minimize withdrawal symptoms associated with ceasing substance use.
Additionally, drug and alcohol rehabs offer patients individual and group therapy as well family counseling, aftercare options, and dual diagnosis treatment. In general, residential inpatient drug and alcohol programs last 28-30 days. However, many facilities that offer inpatient treatment offer programs that last 60-90 and are even longer depending on the severity of one’s addiction.
