At West Valley Detox, we provide clients with wraparound recovery support and services that give them the knowledge, experience, and confidence to achieve sustainable sobriety.

To give you a better idea of what to expect from our medically-assisted detox and residential programs, we’ve put together a timeline that will walk you through the average day at West Valley Detox.

7:00 AM

Wake

Clients wake up and get ready for the day. They take any medications they may need.

8:00 AM

Breakfast

Clients have the first of three delicious, healthy meals, prepared daily on-site.

9:00 AM

Session

Clients have their first session of the day, which is typically one of the following:

  • Reiki therapy
  • Life skills training
  • Coping skills training
  • Personal growth & development
  • Relapse prevention
11:00 AM

Session

Clients have their second session of the day, which is typically one of the following:

  • Spirituality
  • Physical fitness
  • Art therapy
  • Anger management
  • Support systems
  • Process group
12:00 PM

Lunch

Clients have the second of three delicious, healthy meals, prepared daily on-site.

1:00 PM

Session

Clients have their third session of the day, which is typically one of the following:

  • Mental health education
  • Addiction education
  • Nutrition in recovery
  • Living sober
  • Grief & loss
2:30 PM

Individual therapy

Clients participate in one-on-one therapy with a certified, experienced counselor.

4:00 PM

Session

Clients have their fifth session of the day, which is typically one of the following:

  • Spirituality
  • Physical fitness
  • Art therapy
  • Anger management
  • Support systems
  • Process group
5:30 PM

Dinner

Clients begin the day with the third delicious, healthy meal, prepared daily on-site.

7:00 PM

Session

Clients have their fifth session of the day, which is typically one of the following:

  • Recovery planning
  • H&I panel
  • Rock to recovery
9:00 PM

Meditation

Clients have time to improvement their emotional health and mindfulness in a 30-minute guided meditation session.

9:30 PM

Self-reflection

Clients bring the evening to a close by reflecting back on the day’s lessons and sessions.

10:30 PM

Sleep

Clients retreat to their quarters to get some sleep.
